Hummer 1:

Hummer H1 is a military based four-wheel drive created by AM General through 1996-2006. It is an off-road vehicle and was marketed to civilian s per demand. It came with 5 different engine types and 3 automatic transmissions. The standard engine was based 6.2 L V8 TH 400/3L80 3-speed transmission. H1 is a stables and strong vehicle because of its wide track which it inherits from M998 Humvee military model.

Hummer 2:

It was built by the Hummer GM from 2002-2009 as a large SUV. It was actually based on the GMT 820 Chevrolet 2500 HD in front and 1500 in back. In 2005 H2 SUT was introduced as a pickup truck version having a mid-gate. It has strong 6.0 Liter V8 engine with a 5-speed automatic transmission gearbox. The engine could produce 329 PS at 5200rmp.

Hummer 3:

Hummer 3 was introduced in 2006 and was offered in 5-door SUV or a 4-door pickup truck.It was a competent off-road vehicle but couldn’t get as successful as H2 because of the large body and weak engine. The standard H3 is powered by the 3.7 Liter engine mated with 5 speed manual transmission and with 241 pound-feet of torque that generate 239 horsepower. There is also an option of 4- speed automatic transmission. the gas crunch also hit the hummer hard and it failed.
