Isuzu Motors is a Japanese company which produces commercial vehicles and diesel engine. GM and Isuzu formed a joint venture named DMAX to produce diesel engine. GM raised its share in Isuzu by 49% to effectively gain control of the company. Isuzu partnered with other automakers like Toyota also. It withdrew from US market in 2008 because of decline in market. The company still sells commercial vehicles in USA. Here is a list of models that Isuzu has so far produced:

Rodeo D-Max:

It is a pick-up truck and is similar with the mid-sized truck produced by GM in USA. It is from the same platform as Chevrolet Colorado and Isuzu i-Series. The d-Max is available in different trims in different regions. The power-terrain includes 1.9L, 2.5L and 3.0 L diesel engines with 4 cylinder 16 valves. The engines can generate 177 hp with 280lb-ft torque and 5-speed manual/automatic transmission.

This is a rebadged of Chevy s10. It is 2.2L engine with four cylinder and 5-speed manual/automatic transmission. This truck is very reliable in terms of providing comfort, styling and performance. It is still one of the favorites of the pick-up lovers who still own it. The company is not producing any new models of this truck.

Axiom:

Isuzu Axiom is a mid-sized SUV which was produced in 2001-2002 by the company in competition with the Toyota Highlander. It was replaced by Isuzu Ascender in 2004. The SUV had two trim levels and direct-injection 6VE1-DI V6 engine. The automatic transmission was added in 2004 which boosted the power to 250 hp. The production of this model was also discontinued by the Isuzu Motor.
